If there's one thing Claw the Thin Ice do well (and believe me, there are many things this band do well), it's writing music that'll be stuck in your head for days. Which would be annoying if it weren't for the fact they're fucking ace. Case in point - I remember Mikee from label pals Crows An Wra telling me that he listened to the Claw the Thin Ice track on a mix cd on repeat so many times that he managed to break the CD in the process.

Comprised of members and ex-members of Beecher, Borland and Well Wisher, the band started life as the solo project of guitarist Ian Breen, evolving over time from early experiments with drone and noise into a full band incarnation, with it's own brand of tight, brash, hook-laden guitar pop, underpinned by heavy lyrical themes.
