BARELY REGAL RECORDS

Barely Regal Records is an independent record label run by Matt and Isaac of Among Brothers. We started the label in Cardiff, inspired by the incredible community of musicians, labels and promoters there, and brought it kicking and screaming with us to London when we moved in 2012.

What started out as a means of releasing our own music, and a means to experiment with releasing music on unusual physical formats, has slowly evolved into something that's taken over all of our spare time and finances. Wouldn't have it any other way, tbh. We're lucky enough to be a part of the hugely inspiring and prolific DIY community of musicians, artists, labels and such currently blossoming in the UK (and indeed much further afield than that).

When we're not busy trying to balance running an independent record label with having dayjobs you can also find us playing in various bands (of which Among Brothers is one), and promoting shows with our pals Zine & Not Heard under the name Vested Interest.
